The Bank Melli Iran stands as an original member with a vote to the Society for worldwide Inter-bank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) , It has among the other Iranian banks, the most preferential shares and right to vote in the said network. It's membership in swift is considered a drastic step in E-banking in the national banking network. More specially, SWIFT is used in " Exchange Transfer " sector in FE branches throughout the country in order to give speed to the administration of affairs and saving time and energy of customers.

Export of foreign exchange transfers is carried out based on the confines of correspondent relations of BMI.

Export of foreign exchange transfers can be carried out from the imported foreign exchange transfer credit.
